The project comprises the reconfiguration and refurbishment of a former Victorian Methodist church into a generous, open-plan co-working space.

New architectural elements are inserted into the main double-height space like large pieces of furniture; their textured surfaces are subtly distinguished from the original building fabric, which is all rendered in white. Privacy is introduced for the mezzanine level by means of a large patterned stained-glass window – a nod to the building’s past life as a church – while a dramatic glazed hanging stair allows light to filter through a sequence of interlinked spaces.
